系統工程與工程管理系陳友華教授在今年的工業工程學會年會上榮獲2008年度工業工程會刊 IIE Transactions on Scheduling and Logistics 最佳論文獎。他的論文題目是“Value of a Put Option to the Risk-Aversa Newsvendor”。工業工程學會是世界上最大的工業工程師專業組織,而IIE Transactions是該學會的旗艦學術刊。

此外，同系的于旭教授憑其論文“On Tee Pattern Query Rewriting Using Views”在第八屆International Conference on Web Information Systems Engineering (WISE’08)會上榮獲最佳論文獎。
