Prof. Y.T. Zhang has been selected as a Fellow of the FIAMBE

The Academy is to honour individuals who have distinguished themselves in the field of medical and biological engineering. The Academy is operating under the IFMBE which is the largest international organization in BME under which IEEE-EMBS was a trans-national society member and the National BME Societies are its members. The Academy was established in 1995. The award is very selective. There are only 66 Fellows worldwide (49 Fellows and 17 Fellows Emeritus) so far.
